What is the B/1 Work Visa

The B-1 Work Visa is a temporary work permit issued by the Israeli government to foreign nationals. Masa participants who successfully finish one of Masa's long-term programs, are eligible for a 6 months B/1 Working Visa which is unrestricted. Which means that you are able to work in any type of industry in Israel, with no restrictions. In addition to that, you don't need to secure a job in order to apply for the visa.

In order to be eligible for visa you must meet the following qualifications:

A valid passport for at least 12 months from the day you apply for the visa
A scanned photocopy of your birth certificate
Letter from Masa confiriming that you're an alumni of their programs. You can download it here: https://www.masaisrael.org/fellows-portal/
You must physically be in Israel during the application.

$3000 universal grant + $1500 needs based grantIf participate on second program $1500 universal grant + needs based gets carried over.

$4750 standard grantIf participate on second program, will receive another $4750 standard grant.

$5000 standard grantIf participate on second program, will receive another $5000 standard grant.

$3000 universal grant + up to $2000 needs based grantIf participate on second program, receive partial universal grant + needs based grant.

18-20

$500 universal grant + $1500 needs based grantIf participate on second program, only needs-based gets carried over.

$4750 standard grantIf participate on second program, will receive another $4750 standard grant.

$5000 standard grantIf participate on second program, will receive another $5000 standard grant.

$500 universal grant + up to $4500 needs based grantIf participate on second program, only needs-based gets carried over.

Our trips that our staff will organize will enable you to see other parts of Israel, see how people live in areas outside of Tel Aviv, and give you the chance to spend time with your fellow participants. We typically take you on trips to the Northern and southern parts of Israel, to Jerusalem, Haifa, the Dead Sea and other beautiful, fun places.
